Farm-to-Table Playshops

Farm-to-Table is a buzz word for many efforts across the world to educate consumers about the importance of knowing where their food comes from. Five star restaurants, non-profit organizations, local growers and exclusive resorts are just a few of the leaders creating programs to deliver a first-hand experience of understanding the stages of the production of food: harvesting, storage, processing, packaging, sales, and consumption.

Our focus on Farm-to-Table is to educate the end user about the value of CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) while developing pride and passion in growing and preparing home-grown food. Our background in aquaponics growing and preventative health life coaching creates a dynamic approach to in-home lessons of how to develop a lifestyle that works specifically for you and your family.

Please invite us to your kitchens and host a Farm to Table playshop! You invite up to 5 guests and we show you the benefits of optimizing home grown fruits, veggies, herbs and edible flowers to create an experience of wholesome nutrition while celebrating a passion for food and connection.  You can choose from many activities such as window sill herbs, twenty minute meals, and decadent desserts along with hands-on lessons about truth in food labeling, designing a detox lifestyle, defeating diabetes, boosting brainpower, and much more! The evening is a 3 hour experience with time for questions and activities along with sharing feedback and delighting in our creations together.

This is a custom designed playshop for you and your guests in your home for only $300. For complete details, give us a call at (815) 249-5134

Private sessions of gardenscaping, plant identification and eco planning books at $75/hr plus travel time/expense
