For everyone who is enrolled in our CSA, today is our first delivery!
I am so grateful for this cool, wet weather that offers a rather robust first share **unusual** this early in the year.
So here are a few tidbits for pickup:
1. Pickup is at the farm this year. Same time slot, but 1 mile east and 1 mile north of the shop in town. This way, it can also be a productive day on the farm between tending to our customers! In order to pick fresh, please notify me by 6pm on Tuesday evenings if you won’t be able to pickup any particular week. You may always send someone else to grab your share, or we will donate it to the local food pantry or an area family in financial need willing to explore preventative health.
2. Please bring your own bags/baskets! The produce stays much fresher when we do not pre-pack your share. Simply bring your grocery bags and we will fill them up with all the pickin’s of the day when you arrive
3. Often we have extras available for sale such as eggs, meat and bakery items. I only buy what is pre-sold so place your orders a week ahead of time to have enough on hand the following week.
Looking forward to an abundant season!
