There are still several shares available for the 2015 growing season.
Community Supported Agriculture is a rather new concept to many people in our area. Do you know someone who might benefit from eating organically raised food who believes they ‘can’t afford it’? Do you crave a wider variety of organic produce than the limited selection available in our area? Do you wonder whether the ‘organic’ produce you buy at the store is actually chemical-free?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then knowing your grower, selecting what food we grow for you locally, and learning how to heal your body with nutrient-packed fresh produce are a few of the key benefits to joining the Grateful Plains CSA.
If you’d like to host a meet-up, I am available over the next few weeks to come to your home, school or organization to give an overview of the CSA concept and answer all your questions about becoming a member.
Sharing a membership is always an option! How cool would it be for your church or service group to buy a membership together and rotate pickup or split the produce each week? Where else can you get non-GMO veggies, herbs and cut flowers for less than $40 a week?
Education is the key to being the change we deserve in our region to support food safety, food security and whole body healing through quality food and community development.
Shoot me an email if you’d like to schedule a time to host an informational meetup.
Ideally, enrollment concludes DECEMBER 31st to efficiently plan, purchase seeds at discount and to get the best selection of rare and heirloom varieties.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING GRATEFUL PLAINS CSA by inviting just a few people you know to learn more about our 2015 CSA share program.
