TRUTH IN LABELING: Debunk your PERCEPTION!!
It may be important to know that if a food is labeled organic the following key standards set it apart from ‘natural’ label:
- No sewage, sludge, other animal parts or irradiation is permitted in the production of ORGANIC FOOD
- All feed must be rendered FREE OF ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS and certified NON-GMO
- NO SYNTHETIC fertilizers, pesticide, fungicides or herbicides may be used
